When the appointment should be postponed
Postpone for sunburn, broken skin, infection, an active cold sore, or significant irritation. Disclose pregnancy, isotretinoin, prescriptions, recent waxing, laser, injectables, and other peels.
Expected temporary reactions and aftercare
Tingling, warmth, tightness, temporary redness, dryness, and visible flaking are possible. Not every effective peel causes sheets of peeling. After the service, do not pick flaking skin, moisturize gently, avoid unapproved exfoliants, and use broad-spectrum sunscreen. Contact the clinic if a reaction is unexpected, severe, or worsening instead of settling.
Realistic limitations
